The interVac MODEL RM is installed in a similar way to that of traditional central vacuum systems. The power unit is installed in a remote location such as a utility room, cabinet, closet, RV basement, plant room, under stairs compartments or in a storage area.
One or more inlets are then installed at the desired locations and these are connected to the power unit with a system of flexible or rigid piping and fittings. Additional inlets may be added - VacPan’s (sweep type inlets) or a utility inlet at the power unit.
The Model RM may be surface or flush mounted and a wide range of piping, hosing, and fittings are available to suit all home and apartment types, RV and boat layouts.
InterVac South Africa supplies individual components as well as a range of kits for both professional and DIY installations. Typical RM installations can be completed within 60 minutes.
InterVac MODEL RM UNITS REQUIRE HOSE/PIPE AND FITTINGS BETWEEN THE POWER UNIT AND THE REMOTE INLET(S). ALL MAINS VOLTAGE WIRING MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOCAL AND NATIONAL REGULATIONS
